some new LO's and oh yeah i need a design team member!

so i made a goal of 15 pages for this month so far i have done 3, not so bad. so i wanted to share my lo's. also i have created a design team and we are looking for another member. so here is what we need if you are interested

here is what is expected of you:

do 2 LO's a month as well as some kind of smaller project

i will provided sketches for each month

you will be using your own supplies

also to promote our design team on your blog and or cafemom page

we will have application for a week and then we will pick a winner next week

so i figured i would try and attempt to try out for another dt, for those that know me i tried a few years ago and got cheated-any ways its been awhile so i figured what the hay! well tonight i saw that i was not chosen. i am not going to lie, i am upset but what can i do about it. i did create my own design team with a few good girlfriends so i hope that will take off. also i run a group on cafemom and its our year birthday at the end of august so we are planning a crop for the 26-28th and we are traveling to scrapland and doing christmas in august. so this should be fun, kathy is coming up with some really good ideas

well its after 11 and i really wanted to scrap tonight but i am tired. so i am going to finish chatting with the girls and head to bed.

bridal shower

so my sisters bridal shower was last sunday and i was so happy with how things turned out. i made the centerpieces, favors and a towel cake! the centerpieces were cootie catchers upside down with jellybeans inside, the favors are bottle water holders with crystal light packets in them. i wish i could have done some things fancier but time got away from me. so here are some pics

wow has it really been that long?

since last time i blogged? i think my last post was in June. so much has been going on, but again i am making goals and one of them is to blog once a week. i have really cool news i have started my own design team. i run a scrapbooking group over at cafemom so its me and my admins. also, every month we will have a guest dt. we are not offical or anything but hopefully some day we get there.

i did have a page goal last month of 15 pages and i was 7 short:( i set the same goal this month! now that my sisters bridal shower is over and we are not going on vacation this month i should be able to hit the goal. i do have to start on wedding favors for her though. i will share some LO's i did recently.

well i have to start another blog for the lets scrap design team, so i am going to do that before bed. thanks to everyone who reads my blog and hope you will check out our design team's blog. also here is a pic of my mom and her girls!

not sure if anyone actually reads my blog but i am sorry i have not blogged lately:( I am still trying to recover from my back fusion surgery. but i have been working on a few things. I made some handmade flowers and a cupcake box with 3x3 cards! I love looking at other people's blogs and over at splitcoaststampers for ideas! i so wish i was talented like some of these ladies. I would write more but my son got to my laptop and broke my space bar key so its very hard to type now! dh is not going to be happy, its a brand new laptop:( well thanks for stopping by and if you see something you like i would love for you to check out my store

back in action!

well i finally got to scrap for myself the past few days and i cant tell you how good it feels! i also finished the paper bag album that goes along with the diaper bag i posted. the 2 LO's i did also counted towards a challenge over at storytellers MB.

the love u LO- was a challenge to do B & W with a pop of color. it wasnt a hard as i thought it was

sorry its been so long

i thought i was doing great with my weekly blogging but then i had to have major surgery. thursday will be 3 weeks that i had my back fusion. well things are going ok, it was rough at first i thought i was going to die. it turned out to be a 7 hr surgery, 2 rods, 4 screws and 2 cages to replace 2 ruptured disc's. I feel much better now, i cant already tell a difference. I dont have any leg pain anymore. All of my pain is due to recovery and thats ok with me.

Also i wanted to say thank you to all of my wonderful friends who have helped me through this trouble time. i got so many nice cards and a great book from my cafemom friends. also nana's place sent me flowers! i am so blessed to have great friends!

well today i made a paper diaper bag, i am working on a paper bag album to put in there to sell. it was lot of fun to make. i combined 2 ideas from great and talented ladies. i believe one is chic n scratch and leigh o'brien. i think they are over at SCS. the paper came from storytellers club, i love this paper! the pocket in the front i made to put a card in there. well i hope you all like!
